It is personalised based on the addictive substance(s) that the client is addicted to, their personal history, family history, circumstances that led to addiction, gender, physical health and other variables as at the time of admission. The Program is a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy(REBT), 12 Step Program approved by the World Health Organization and Family Therapy.
Problem gambling, or ludomania, is characterised by the urge to continuously gamble despite harmful negative consequences or a desire to stop. It is usually defined by whether harm is experienced by the gambler or others, rather than by the gambler’s behaviour. Severe problem gambling may be diagnosed as clinical pathological gambling if the gambler meets certain criteria.
