Ketamine Addiction
Our Treatment Programs are crafted with a multi-disciplinary and medically guided approach that focuses on healing the patient. It is personalised based on the addictive substance(s) that the client is addicted to, their personal history, family history, circumstances that led to addiction, gender, physical health and other variables as at the time of admission. The Program is a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy(REBT), 12 Step Program approved by the World Health Organization and Family Therapy.
Ketamine categorised as a “dissociative anaesthetic” causes sensory and perceptual impairment such as hallucinations and dream-like states. Short-term and long-term effects may include increased heart rate and blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, numbness, depression, amnesia, hallucinations and potentially fatal respiratory problems.
At Phoenix we provide an effective detox plan followed by personal counselling, group therapy sessions and an introduction to the 12-step program as per WHO – all provided in a supportive environment by caring medical personnel. A deeper understanding is provided to our clients on the drug – Ketamine and its ill-effects on the body and mind. Our treatment program also involves a family program that helps family through the recovery program and prepares them for the future.
