Phoenix Rehab — An Introduction
When the world comes crashing down and we come crashing down along with it, we get a chance that others usually don’t — the ability to rise. Because we can truly rise only if we’ve fallen and we can only be reborn if we’ve known what it feels like to die inside. This is the story of Phoenix — it symbolises resilience and the ability to overcome all odds and rise above the ashes.
Most people addicted to Alcohol and Substances go through life systematically destroying all aspects of it until they arrive at “rock bottom”. At this stage everything seems hopeless for the Addict and his/her family. This is where Phoenix comes in — where a path to recovery is provided. They are given ways by which they can rebuild their lives and that of their families like a Phoenix — Rising out of the Ashes.
With this in mind, Phoenix Rehab Services (formerly known as Phoenix Foundation) was started — to provide the means for someone addicted to alcohol and substances to overcome their seemingly unsurmountable obstacles and rebuild their lives. Phoenix was established 8 years ago at AS Rao Nagar, Secunderabad. It has over the years become a Reputed Rehabilitation Centre for Substance Abuse and Behavioural Therapy with a well-qualified and dedicated team of professionals. The recovery program at Phoenix was designed under the auspices of the 12 step program approved by the World Health Organisation for Addiction Treatment. Phoenix is known for its ethical program and clients are dealt with compassion, love, and empathy and the best in medical and psychological treatment are provided.
Phoenix’s mission is to rebuild lives, restore families and improve communities. This is accomplished by providing quality, personalised, comprehensive and affordable treatment for those experiencing problems with alcohol, drugs and associated mental illnesses.
The founder of Phoenix Mahesh Kotagiri, himself a recovering alcoholic had a vision to start a treatment centre for alcohol and drug dependence and be the recognised leader in the provision of high quality, innovative harm reduction and supportive strategies for individuals living with the devastating effects of drug addiction and out of this vision Phoenix was born. Mr. Mahesh has given up other avocations and completely dedicated himself to the cause of betterment of the lives of addicts/alcoholics and their families. His approach to treatment is based on the following values :

Innovation & Excellence — Continuous improvement by seizing opportunities to exceed expectations and achieve innovative outcomes.
Partnership and Teamwork — Building and sustaining effective and harmonious relationships and connections with others in order to achieve mutually beneficial objectives.
