Yaba Addiction
Our Treatment Programs are crafted with a multi-disciplinary and medically guided approach that focuses on healing the patient. It is personalised based on the addictive substance(s) that the client is addicted to, their personal history, family history, circumstances that led to addiction, gender, physical health and other variables as at the time of admission. The Program is a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT), Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy(REBT), 12 Step Program approved by the World Health Organization and Family Therapy.
Yaba or otherwise called the madness drug or Nazi speed, is a combination of several stimulants which includes caffeine and methamphetamine or crystal meth. Usage for Yaba results in condition similar to usage of methamphetamine such as rapid heart rate, increased blood pressure, and damage to brain blood vessels leading to a stroke. Yaba is a hallucinogen and is known to impact mental state adversely causing paranoia and rage.
Initial withdrawal from the drug through detox is a time-taking process but post completion the addict feels much better and is ready to progress to continuing addiction treatment. Post-Detox treatment in our In-patient program includes Individual and Group Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, 12 Step Program as per WHO, Development of Life Skills, Vocational, Educational Programs, Yoga, Meditation, Audio-Video Inputs and Family Support Programs.
